This one of a kind Hemp Denim Acid Wash Couch + Chair Reupholstery was a special opportunity our dear friend commissioned us to help him update his office warehouse in San Francisco.

We worked directly with him on the hemp denim selection and back and forth on acid wash testing for 6 weeks. It’s a complicated treatment process since acid wash is normally used on synthetic polyester blend denim material and not on 100% natural fibers like hemp. It took our teams a few times to get it right without damaging the fibers and keeping the strength of hemp.

We love how it turned out and brings a fun artisan vibe to hemp denim.
