As a species, we have been using hemp for thousands of years as an industrial material and it’s resource to us is nothing new. However, it’s not being used to its full capacity. Hemp as a sustainable resource is limitless in its many uses and capabilities. Industrial hemp has been scientifically proven to absorb more CO2 per hectare than any forest or commercial crop and is therefore the ideal carbon sink.
Hemp is regenerative, meaning it reverses climate change by rebuilding soil, resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle. Growing hemp positively impacts the environment. It's so important to consider the impact of our products on the earth, from the development through the design stages, ensuring that every product we design take’s environmental impact into consideration.
